Summer Flavours Afternoon Tea Set
Created to celebrate the start of the Thai summer, the “Summer Flavours” afternoon tea set at Metro On Wireless on the 2nd Floor is all about refreshing flavours served in a charming pinto set. Start with house-brewed chrysanthemum juice, before exploring the tempting selection of sweet and savoury bites. The culinary team’s creativity is showcased in hard-to-find delicacies such as “Kang Kao Pueak” – fried stuffed taro with minced shrimp and chicken and “Khao Tang Miang Kham” – leaf-wrapped dried shrimp, peanut and roasted coconut bite on rice cracker. For sweet sensations, savour highlights like the fragrant “Som Chun” – lychee, young ginger and mixed fruits in syrup, the aesthetic butterfly pea “Piak Poon” pudding or “Yok Manee” – pandan sago dumplings with grated coconut. Of course, a duo of plain and raspberry scones served with clotted cream, orange and strawberry jam is a must for every afternoon tea experience.
